Solid Minerals & Mining
SIDC bridges the capital and infrastructure gap holding back Nigeria's solid minerals sector. We give upcoming, mid-tier and artisanal mining operators access to heavy machinery, processing plants, haulage infrastructure and secure logistics — turning raw exploration leases into productive, regulatory-compliant sites.

Scope of work
What we deliver
Heavy fleet procurement & leasing
Hydraulic excavators (45–90 ton), crawler bulldozers, articulated dump trucks and wheel loaders, available via operational lease, wet-lease with certified operators, or hire-purchase.
Drilling & fragmentation
Crawler-mounted hydraulic drill rigs, portable compressors and non-electric initiation systems that replace dangerous artisanal blasting methods.
Haulage road engineering
Multi-layered haulage roads, laterite sub-base stabilization, box culverts and reinforced bridges connecting remote leases to market.
Secure mineral logistics
Armored transport, satellite tracking and armed escort for high-value concentrates such as gold dore, tantalite and gemstone roughs.
Regulatory & export brokerage
Coordination with the Mines Inspectorate, Mining Cadastre Office and Nigeria Customs Service for export permits, royalties and port clearance.
Mining camp construction
Self-sustaining remote camps with modular living quarters, secure storage vaults, off-grid solar power and borehole water purification.
Beneficiation & processing plants
Crushing, milling, screening and gravity separation circuits, including mercury-free centrifugal concentrators for gold operations.
Tailings & environmental containment
HDPE-lined tailings storage facilities engineered to withstand 100-year flood events, with continuous groundwater monitoring.
